Three fund managers exit M&G

M&G's George Tsinonis, Giles Worthington and Tim Short are leaving the firm, leading to a management reshuffle on several funds.

George Tsinonis, manager of the £337m Cautious Multi Asset and the £739m M&G Managed funds, has now left the company. Tsinonis only took over management of the funds in July 2010, after multi-asset manager and head of equities David Jane left the firm to pursue other opportunities. Tsinonis departs following the introduction of a new framework based on flexibly allocating capital between global asset classes in response to asset valuation changes, while understanding the behavioural and economic drivers of those valuations, the group says.
